Guy and Sarah’s wedding at Winder Hall, Lorton, Cumbria on the 18th June 2011
On the 18th June I was at the wedding of Guy and Sarah which was held at Winder Hall in Lorton. Winder Hall as I have mentioned in previous blog posts is a fantastic venue, very high standards, well run and always a joy to photograph weddings.
The weather forecast was not great in the days leading up to the wedding; however, there was a big enough gap in the rain for Guy and Sarah to be able to use the gardens to hold their service in and this is always great from a photography point of view because of the opportunities to capture different angles by standing a lot further back and move around a little without disrupting the service.
Guy and Sarah had hired the services of the harpist Harriet Lamb who is based at St Bees and for the evening reception they used ‘Bandcamp’, an excellent band for any wedding reception. Both Harriet and ‘Bandcamp’ are highly recommended.
