Jason and Sara's wedding album, St Mary's Church, Barrow and The Coot on the Tarn, Great Urswick, Ulverston, 27th December 2010

On the 27th December I was at Barrow in Furness to photograph the wedding of Jason and Sara. The church venue was St Mary of Furness Roman Catholic Church and the reception was to be at The Coot on the Tarn at Great Urswick. The day didn't start to well for me because of the snowy and icy weather, a normal journey time of 1h 30m turned into 3hrs, I had left very early in anticipation of the traffic, however, I still only arrived with 15mins to spare. This was a particularly challenging wedding due to the lack of light and most of the day the camera was set on 1600iso and f2.8 or lower.

St Mary's church is a fantastic building and the vicar was kind enough to let me stand near the front for the service, I wanted to get quite a few wide shots to try and show off the building and capture some of the atmosphere. By the time we arrived at the reception it was completely dark so the selection of formal shots that Jason and Sara had asked for were taken in front of the main fire place as this is really the only area suitable.
